Join us in VRChat for the 6th edition of Sci Tech Chat in Social VR during HIMSS23‚ the largest annual Health Tech conference conference in the world․ While online‚ this event is not video-based‚ it is virtual reality-based․ So grab that VR headsetǃ You don't have to be interested in health tech‚ just VR and AR in general‚ hanging out talking tech and architecture while floating over Chicago's beautiful lakefront․ Why HIMSS23? Most Sci Tech Events occur during interesting conferences in interesting places․ Why Robie House? When I went to U of Chicago‚ everyday I walked by Frank Lloyd Wright's ＂Prairie Schooner＂ on the U of C campus․ It's now houses U of C's alumni headquarters․ Why VRChat? It's simply the first social VR platform I migrated to after Microsoft sunsetted AltspaceVR （RIPǃ）․ Future events will occur during other conferences over other cities （or nearby natural wonders） on other social VR platforms˸ Mozilla Hubs‚ Spatial‚ RecRoom‚ Engage‚ etc․ To find me on VRChat search for ＂Chuck Altspace＂ and send friend invite․ Then search of ＂SCITEC․1036＂ and join Sci Tech Chat in Social VR on VRChat․ If you're intrigued‚ but don't know where to start re this social VR stuff‚ message the organizer （me）‚ or post questions to the discussion board‚ and I'll help onboard you into social VR․ Note‚ when you gain access to the link leading to the online event you will need to create an VRChat account if you have not already done so․ This informal online meetup in virtual reality is unaffiliated with the HIMSS Global Health Conference ＆ Exhibition․ But we hope you'll attend both and share what you learn and experienceǃ
