Description: Welcome to the Virtual MCMǃ The Marketing Center Münster‚ part of Münster University's School of Business ＆ Economics‚ is the birthplace of Marketing Science in Germany․ Its history dates back to 1968 when Professor Heribert Meffert founded the first marketing department at a German university․ The MCM is widely considered one of the world's leading scholarly think tanks with regard to market-oriented leadership issues․ Today the MCM hosts several chairs and institutes‚ including the eXperimental Reality Lab alias XRLab＠MCM‚ where we study the implications that virtual and augmented reality has for firms‚ consumers‚ and society․ At the Virtual MCM‚ you can participate in academic events‚ explore the history of the institution‚ or play some pinball‚ beer pong and basketball․ Or you simply take a shortcut to Muenster's finest island ;） In either case‚ enjoy your stay in Münsterǃ
